There are so many new things to play with!!!

OMG!! I'm loving the new releases from CHA. I've been playing with some of it! I love the new BoBunny lines! There so great. I've even got to play with the Whoo-ligans line and I loved it! I made a mini album out of the paper line and had so much fun doing it. Its being displayed at a local scrap store right now, but I'll have to get some pictures of it so I can post them here.

I've got to play with some of the new Basic Grey, love it as well. And all of the new Glimmer mists, glimmer glam, glimmer glaze and chalk board glimmer mist. There all so fun to play with. I love the bigger glitter in the glam and I love the way you can paint with the glaze and it looks so cute, I love the gloss sheen it leaves. And I love that the chalk board GM is so fun, to me it seems like it leaves more color behind. Crate papers new stuff is great! I've got to see it in person and like it even more then when I saw it on the computer, and Graphic 45, OMG!! I thought I loved steam punk debutant when I saw it on the computer, but I saw it Saturday for the 1st time in person and I can not wait to play with it!! Its so beautiful! There are so many things still out there that I haven't got to play with yet, but theirs still plenty of time for that.

I got to go scrapbooking this past weekend at my LSS, Scrapbook Corner, They had a Labor Day weekend crop, and it was so fun to get to go and be around all the scrapping fun. I got quite a few projects started but nothing really finished, lol! But I plan to have them finished by the end of the week. I have I think 4 single page LO's and a mini album. Oh I love the new Maya roads stuff too!! Cant get enough!! lol

So I'm going to say, I'll have my pictures up by the end of the week, and I'll also try to get pictures of my book made with the BoBunny Whoo-ligans line. So hope you stop by later to see!! Off to have some more fun!

New mini, distressed and grungy

Well I know I wrote that I had one of my memory cards break off in my computer, well we got it out, but it didnt seem to fix it, it wouldn't let me download anything when I put my memory cards in, so I had to find a way around it, I was going to try cds, but that would mean going to Walmart every time I wanted to put anything on my computer and I'm one of those people that wants instant gratification, so that didnt work for me,lol. Well when I did go to get a cd made I found this little card reader that plugs right into you USB port, problem solved!! So here are a few new things that I've been working on and have actually finished.




I got some of the new Tim Holtz papers about a week ago and I love them! Tim Holtz rules! lol The one I did this mini with is Lost and Found. I'm going to have to get some more of this! I like grunge and when I saw this paper it was like, Swoon..... lol I had fun with it though. I just wish I could have fit all of the pages in it! When I actually got it done I couldn't fit all of the pages in it, I even added one of Tim Holtzs knobs and put a closure on it to hold it better,lol but still only 6 of the pages fit in. I guess I could stick the rest of the pages in, but it doesn't close at all that way,hummmmm. Maybe I'll make another mini.... the possibility... :)


And here is a page I did of my sister and her little girl, it was for a sketch challenge online and I thought these pictures were perfect for this layout. Now I have to make sure my sister doesn't get her hands on it!! lol




And then here's a layout I did of me and my hubby. Its a little different then most of my LO's. I've played with transparency's before but this LO is on a transparency. I love the look of the LO's on transparency's. Anyways I think I've talked enough for now,lol, I tend to be long winded and I guess that even goes over to typing! But here's my last LO for the day.

woo hoo, I got my car back!!!

I finally got my car back today!! After three weeks almost! It sounds stupid, but I was so excited to get my own car back. My parents were great and let me use there car while mine was in the shop getting fixed. But I'm so happy to have her back!!

I've been searching the web and looking at all of the new stuff from the new CHA release. And I cant wait till some of it hits the stores!! I'm already putting money back form my scrap habit!

I want pretty much everything from Prima!!! There masks are great and cant wait to play with those! The papers are great and the flowers and trims and the new albums!!! OMG cant wait!

I probably have an opinion about just about every line that's coming out!lol I love to scrapbook! There are so many lines that I want, I need to get a job! Just to support my habit! lol

If its not one thing its another, right.....

Well if I'm not on here for a while it usually has to do with my kids or me, either being sick or other family stuff. Well its been two weeks or a little more and theres been SOOOOO much going on.

I've made some stuff and wanted to get the pictures on here, but when I put my memory card in my computer it BROKE!!!! In the little slot where it goes. I don't know what I'm going to do about it, I was going to take it some where but I was suppose to be leaving with my husband to go on a little vacation/some classes for his work. Well I was fallowing him down and I got in a wreck. I swerved to miss a semi, went around the back of the semi and into a pretty deep ditch. It damaged the car enough to where in would take a while to fix, so I didnt get to go.:( I did get to spend that day in the ER though. God had to have been watching over me, because I made it out with whip lash and a lower lumbar strain. It would have been so much worse. When I got home from that I had a house full of guest,lol, we had a bunch of family come into town, they were suppose to stay at my parents, but since I was back we decided to have some come and stay with me. That was nice and once everyone left after that week, my kids got sick! lol always something....

So now I have a sick little one, hes had a high fever and been trowing up, so I took him to the doctor and its all from an ear infection. But hes on meds now and should be fine soon! Thank God!! So now to getting my computer fixed!! So hopefully I'll get some new stuff posted soon!

4th of July weekend and a new addition...

Well this past weekend was the 4th of July, but we really didnt do anything. My hubby was gone for work, so it didnt feel quite right. We still had fun though. We all went to my parents house and got in the pool, did some bbq'n. It was fun, it was more like a normal get together with our family,lol. We do that kind of stuff all the time. But it was fun!

Everything's kinds out of order here, so I guess I'll go backwards, already did Sunday so here's Saturday then Friday,lol. Well Saturday we added a new addition to our family. We got a dog! He's an adorable little chocolate lab and his name is Bo. The kids love him and begged me to bring him home and with me loving animals like I do, we brought him home with us,lol. And he's learning fast! We've had him 5 days now and he sits and stays when told to. But he doesn't like to be left alone, he'll whine and howl a little,lol. But he's so sweet!!


In his picture here, he'd been outside with us playing in the sprinkler! lol.

And on Friday I played with some lace, trims and some satin to make little flowers. They were fun and I think I might make some more.


They turned out pretty good, I think. The bigger ones are good as pins. I attached a few to some purses I have and even some shits and plain tanks I have. Just a little something to spice em' up a little,lol. Well off to scrap some more!

Eclipse....

Ok well I dont know about y'all, but I love the Twilight series. I love the books, there a great read, but I also love the movies so far. I love seeing the story acted out,coming to life, even if some stuff is left out. I understand that they cant get EVERYTHING from the books in there.

But last night I went to the movies with 3 of my friends and it was great! I know that the new one, Eclipse didnt come out till today, but we went and watched all three in a row! lol. I personally own the 2 that are already out on dvd, but it was fun to watch them on the big screen again. I have to say though, sitting that long dose kinda hurt the bum.lol. But it was worth it! We started the first one at 7:17pm last night and they continued until 12:08 this morning when the newest one started. I got my parents to watch the kids, so it was nice to be out with some friends and watch the movies. The theater was packed and there were like 5-7 of the theaters covering the movie!lol. I think I was one of the only people there without any twilight gear on me though, Oh well.lol. I cant wait to added it to my dvd collection when it comes out.

I haven't scrapbooked anything twilight yet,hummmm. So I think that's something I'm going to have to do! lol. Hummmmm, wonder what to do?? Well I guess I'll figure something out and when I do I'll post it here.:) Anyone else interested in doing a Twilight themed LO and want to share, post a link in the comments! :) Well off to make lunch and then to start creating!

Our 1st visitor of the summer

We had our first visitor of this summer! We were inside and herd our dogs barking out side, we went out in the back yard an found a cute little turtle making his way to the pond! He was too cute! We watched him walk around the yard, and they aren't slow! It was funny because the dogs were scared of this little bitty turtle! lol But we've had quite a few in the yard now, along with some bunnies and deer. Its fun to see the animals and the kids love it!

Now, to get some more scrapping done?? Its a little hard when your away from home.We are away for a few day, well me and the kids at least, but I brought some scrapping with me to do after they go to sleep.lol. Hope I get some done! I miss having my desk, like i have at home. Well I'll post more when I get home! Sorry for being MIA
