MIA....

Well I wanted to apologize for binging MIA for so long. So many things have happened. My computer crashed on me, so I was bouncing from one friends computer to another but I couldn't get all my stuff uploaded to their computers. I did get my computer some what fixed and then both og my kids got really sick and then there has been some personal stuff, Family wise, that I'm just not ready to share yet, so please forgive me for being gone so long and I hope you still check back and will see I'm back!!



Well lets see..... I have been scrapping some here and there, more so lately. Its been nice to get back into it, I missed it! I've also been doing more out door things with my kids and that's been nice too. We've been having fun with little experiments, for instance, we got a few bottles of coke the other day and a few packages of mentos took them outside in the yard. When you put the mintos in the coke they start spewing out, (really an experiment for out side!), well depending on how many mentos you put in the higher the fountain that comes out. Needless to say my boys LOVED it!! Were going to start rock candy some time after it gets cold because that one will take time. I've got recipes for moon much, gack, play dough and some other things. Were also going to try some other science projects and more outside things not that its starting to cool down. Well going to go for now, post more later. And its nice to be back!!!

National Flower month

As I have said before, I'm a part of the Peachy Kats DT And this month my assignment was to make something for National Flower month. So I went a head and made a mini with pretty flowered papers by Basic Grey and with lots of flowers inside!

Gothametts!! and our first sketch...

Mothers Day and a project

So how was your Mothers Day?? I hope it was great! My Mothers Day gift came a few days early this year. My kids and hubby got me an adorable little Maltese puppy. She's great and so fun. And so little. She reminds me of a cat kind of,lol. She pounces and attacks stuff, So fun. I'll have to get a picture up here in the next few days. Shes always running around doing something. :)

Well this here LO is one I did for the Lets Get Peachy Design team. I, like fellow scrappers have a hard time scrapping our selves. Were usually busy scrapping our kiddos, family and other friends and pets. So this was kind of hard for me, but I think I did an alright job.


Well I have tons to get done, few projects here and there. I also have a few shows that are on tonigh that I want to catch, then back to scrapping.lol

Yesterday I actually got to scrapping!! I went to my LSS, I got to go and finish up some projects and start some new ones,lol, it was so nice!! Here's my messy scrap ares at my LSS,lol. Spread out over a 6ft table, got my m&m's, my zune, coke and my camera, I was good to go!! lol :) This is kinda clean though....just thought that when I looked at the picture,haha when I scrap at home it look so much more messy... Maybe its just me maybe its not that messy here at home, I'll have to take a picture tonight when I'm scrapping and compare it to this one,lol









Anyways......It was great to be around the other scrappers too, more inspiration, more ideas!! lol And new products!!! Love that so much!! Let me see.... I got some BoBunny, Graphic 45, Webster's pages, Pink Paislee, more chipboard, I always need more of that too!lol And I got some of the new 7 Gypsies Collage tissue paper, distress inks and more Tim Holtz goodness!! I cant wait to play with it!! Now I need to get me some more flowers and glimmer mist!! Then I'd be set for a while :) Maybe......lol.

I have so many things I want to try now! I have so many altered projects flying around in my head, I need to write them down so I dot forget!! lol But during the day today, it doesn't look like I'm going to get much scrapping done, But that's ok. tonight I will,lol. I have a birthday party to get ready for! My oldest turned 6 the other day and now were having his party tomorrow, and God willing it will be a great day! But I'm doing the cake tonight so I dont have to rush in the morning to get it done, so that will take a little of the stress out of it,lol. Might have to post some of the pictures tomorrow! :)

No charger :(

Ok so the title has two meanings,lol. It's been crazy here, but I've loved it!! But I just feel like I can't fully get back into the swing of things and I cant get enough sleep, or I guess you can say I cant get charged back up! lol Lame I know... anyways....

Well when I say its been busy around here these are some of the things we've been doing.....
My oldest son has been wanting his room painted green for so long, so I went and got some of the little sample bottles and painted 3 big squares on his wall and let him choose. So one night we made a fort in the living room and let him sleep out there, we cranked up the music and painted his room. And he loves it!! Now we just need to up date his room some more for a big boy room. We put in a new desk and TV and he was totally excited that he had a place to do home work and to watch his movies. Still more to do there but its going to be a little at a time. Then in our youngest room we just rearranged and put a new TV in, to be honest I'm not to psyched about either of them having a TV in there rooms, I think there too young, just what I think but my hubby thought it would be great. Anyways..... Well then we rearanged out living room and my hubby built a new TV stand, I'll have to get some pictures of the too, I think he did a great job though. And we also painted my kitchen!! I was so excited about all the changes in the house. We've lived in this house for 4 years and were juts starting to make it look like a home, and its still got a long way to go!

But now we have a birthday party to plan and I have to get on the invites and everything. My little guy is turning 6!! Its crazy to think!! But Im so looking forward to this next week!! Its spring break and I'll get to have some time to wind down and recharge with my little ones!! I think the extra time with them will totally do it for me!!

Oh yeah the reason I haven't had any pictures lately was because my charger broke and I cant find one in the store anywhere!! So I don't know what to do. Honestly I don't have the money to buy a new camera right now, so I'm going to barrow my moms tonight and take some pictures and get them on here. Sorry for the lull in the blog but I'm so use to blogging with pictures,lol.

Busy night...

Well I worked today, I have to say it was nice to get out of the house for a while and be around other adults. I got home and made dinner for the kiddies, My oldest was suppose to have a B-Ball game tonight, but I got off work late and then he didnt feel real great either. Well got them fed, chicken nuggets tonight,lol, because the chicken and dumplings wasnt ready yet. But then we all sat in the living room and made a pallet and watched Open Season 3. Kinda cute, not big into it. Anyways.... so right now I'm sitting at my desk eating chicken and dumplings and waiting for the live show to watch the rest of the CHA sneak peeks. Cant wait!! I've also got my sewing machine out in front of me, going to play with that some and I've got a movie to watch too.lol. Wondering if I'm going to get everything done that I want tonight. Oh and I also already started my laundry! lol. Well off to watch and do some stuff! Later

Wow what a morning!!

Ok so I've been home sick for almost 5 days now and it stinks so much. I'm so ready to be better and feeling better instead of feeling sick to my stomach, tired and achy all the time. UGH!! But I have to go back to work tomorrow, hopefully I'll feel better in the morning. I haven't even been on my computer in that time, that's crazy for me.lol. Anyways, now it looks like my little ones might be getting it. Witch makes since, my mom and sister have it too,I just hate when my little ones are sick. But....

Other then that its been a pretty good morning. I went to the doctor yesterday and was told I had the flu and they couldn't do anything for me, but I got to town before I planned so I went and sat at the LSS, well while I was there waiting to go to the doctor, the new 7 Gypsies line came in. OMG I love it!! And I got it!! Well I went to bed early last night, as soon as the kiddies were down, and slept until one of the boys work me up not feeling good, so I cuddled him and got him back to sleep and couldn't get back to sleep myself, so I saw the 7gypsies and decided to play with it until I could go back to bed. Well I almost finished an album,lol. But not quite. lol If I start feeling any better, I'll have it done in a few day or maybe tomorrow! lol. But not only that, but this morning I got a package in from the lovely FedEx truck!! Its from a fellow scrapper, wasn't expecting it for a few more days, but its here and I love it. Its older stuff but I love it. I got a whole pad of Prima paper and it beautiful!! some cool rub ons by Crate paper and Jenni Bowlin and a really cool stamp!





Well I'm going to lay back down and try and start feeling better. But I thought I'd share that.lol. Since I haven't been on here much lately. Hope I'll be posting more very soon! I have plenty to play with!! lol

Welcome to 2011!!! Hope everyones had a good evening so far. I worked today, came home and saw my children for a while, they went to bed. I popped a DVD into my computer here and started scrapping. Cant pass up an opportunity to scrap, So I took an old hard back book and cut the pages out. I've seen this done before and wanted to try it myself, so I did.lol Well I cut out the pages, covered the book with beautiful Websters pages papers. This being my first time, I made some mistakes, or I guess I should say things I would do differently next time. Well after I covered the book with papers, I inked it and then sewed in my pages, witch are water color paper. Then I cut some pretty little things from the Websters pages paper and added them as embellishments. Well its getting late and I have to be at work early in the A.M. so I'm going to call it a night, but I thought I'd post it and let y'all see it. I'm not finished with it yet, I'll add more later. and once Im done I'll post the finished project. Happy New years everyone!!!!

So how was your Christmas???

Merry late Christmas everyone!!! I hope everyone had a good day with family, friends and loved ones! We had a pretty good day our selves. My sister and her family were down for Christmas as well, we all wanted to be together Christmas morning like we were when we were little, so we all stayed at our parents house. Us adults stayed up late and did the Santa thing, then me and my sis stayed up talking, so needless to say, morning came early, like 5:30am!! The kids were up and raring to go!! lol

I had pictures to post of the tree, but I cant believe I'm going to say thins, but I left my camera at my parents house. So it looks like I'll have to make a trip that way again today! lol I'm never with out my camera so this is odd. The kids are in the living room playing with remote control cars and having a blast and I don't have a camera to take pictures. But I'm sure they'll be playing with them for a while.

But one thing I can say for out family, even though were grown with our own kids we've stuck to the same traditions. On Christmas day when we were kids we had to wait to open our presents until our parents had there first cup of coffee, then my dad would pass out all our gifts, once he'd passed everything out we'd start opening. Well we did the same thing this year, with all of us being at there house. Not sure what my sister dose at her house but we do the same at my house for Christmas. I like tradition. I did, however miss my brothers and there families! I'm hoping that one year in the near future will ALL get to be together for Christmas!
Ok so on a different note....I watch Marion Smiths ustream channel, if you haven't watched her you really, REALLY need to check her out! Anyways.... She kinda issued a challenge on her show the other day. Were all trying to get to know each other better so she wants us to try and post a youtube video or ustream video, I'll have to check again. But one video for every day of January. It can be of anything, just so we get to know each other a little better, a little insight to each others life's I guess. I think its kinda cool, I'm looking forward to it. My only problem is that I don't have a web cam. I might attempt to use the recording on my cannon and see if that will work. I'm going to test this before January 1st. lol. But So far my thoughts are to do videos on projects I haven't finished and try to finish those on the little videos and if I run out of those, then I have a folder on my computer that's got things in it that I've been wanting to do, so maybe this will be a way for me to do that, a little push,lol!! Well off to get some stuff done before I have to go into work this afternoon, short lived little vacation from work, hu?? Oh well I was with my family on Christmas, we got to celebrate together, that's all that matters. Again I hope all of you had a Merry Christmas and God bless!

Turkey Days over already....

Well looks like Turkey Day has come and gone. I personally had to work on Thanksgiving, so not a lot of family time this year. But I did get to spend some time with everyone, just enough not to hear the little squabbles that go on when to many people get in to the kitchen,lol. I love my family, but on the holidays theirs always a few little arguments. Nothing big, but like I said, to many people in the kitchen at one time, the kids sticking there fingers into a pie that's on the counter just close enough for them to reach, you know things like that.lol My kids had a blast with there grandparents and other family though.

Then there was black Friday!! Fun, fun.Not really though, I had to work black Friday and that was interesting,lol I didnt have to be there 1st thing in the morning, thank God!! But it was still hectic enough. And were still trying to get everything back to they way its suppose to be.

But enough about that...... Not a ton of scrapping going on here lately. My little ones were sick, then me. And then it was kinda like my Mojo just disappeared, so for the last week I've been non-creative..... But that hasn't stopped me from buying scrapping goodies!! lol. I have tons I've got and want to play with.I've been searching on the net for challenges and checking out other blogs for inspiration. I think I might have found some, so I'm going to try and jump on that tonight.

I'm going to try and start posting more often, hope that will stick. That's my plan for now. Off to laze around and spend some time with the kiddos.

A new venture???

Well I've been aware of Etsy for a long time now, as a lot of people are. My mom and sister have tried to encourage me to start my own shop on there to sell my scrap goodies. I've thought about it a lot and I'm kinda leaning towards opening my own shop. I haven't gone that far yet, but I have joined, so I have the option. Its something nice to play around with.lol

I've been trying to rationalize with myself on doing this, I know I scrap for fun and to keep my memories in a way that I think is pretty and will preserve them. And I have a few family members that expect to get layouts or mini albums for almost every holiday, so I usually have some laying around. So I think I might do it and see how it goes....... lol trying to convince myself I guess! Well I'll just start out with making a banner and avatar for my shop and then will see where I go from there.......

gone awhile, back again

Ok, so it’s been forever again since I blogged, but there’s been so much going on!!! The kiddos have started school; we’ve all been sick, ear drums bursting again!! Kids loosing teeth, family moving back and all kinds of crazy stuff!! But I have to say, I love it all. I’m happy to be with my family when their sick, I’m glad to know I can be there for them.
I have to say I’ve also had some fun going on too. Like I said I had family move back, that’s been in the last 2 weeks, and it’s great. My sister and her little girl are here now!! I’m loving it!! I’m getting to see my sister more and getting to know my niece more as well and it’s great. Me and my sister have been making bows for her little girl, so that’s been kind of new and fun!
But I’ve been scrapbooking too!! Lol. I think I’ve made like eight mini albums, well one is an art journal, and I’ve done some page layouts and some altered art stuff. I’m kind of a night owl, lol. So when everyone’s asleep, I get to get some of my fun stuff done, no interruption.
But since its been so long since I’ve blogged, I thought I’d share a few parts of the things I’ve been doing. And I have tons more that I’ll be sharing soon. So anyways, here are some bits and pieces of my projects…..














Ok so I know its bits and pieces here and there. I didnt show a full album, but I have tons that I've done. And there are so many scrapbook lines that I've bought and need to use!! More and more to come!!

I've been playing around with the challenge Websters pages has issued. Webster's Pages October Monthly Challenge: Dress a Dress Form. As soon as I'm finished I'll post pictures of it as well! Well that's all for now. Back again soon.

There are so many new things to play with!!!

OMG!! I'm loving the new releases from CHA. I've been playing with some of it! I love the new BoBunny lines! There so great. I've even got to play with the Whoo-ligans line and I loved it! I made a mini album out of the paper line and had so much fun doing it. Its being displayed at a local scrap store right now, but I'll have to get some pictures of it so I can post them here.

I've got to play with some of the new Basic Grey, love it as well. And all of the new Glimmer mists, glimmer glam, glimmer glaze and chalk board glimmer mist. There all so fun to play with. I love the bigger glitter in the glam and I love the way you can paint with the glaze and it looks so cute, I love the gloss sheen it leaves. And I love that the chalk board GM is so fun, to me it seems like it leaves more color behind. Crate papers new stuff is great! I've got to see it in person and like it even more then when I saw it on the computer, and Graphic 45, OMG!! I thought I loved steam punk debutant when I saw it on the computer, but I saw it Saturday for the 1st time in person and I can not wait to play with it!! Its so beautiful! There are so many things still out there that I haven't got to play with yet, but theirs still plenty of time for that.

I got to go scrapbooking this past weekend at my LSS, Scrapbook Corner, They had a Labor Day weekend crop, and it was so fun to get to go and be around all the scrapping fun. I got quite a few projects started but nothing really finished, lol! But I plan to have them finished by the end of the week. I have I think 4 single page LO's and a mini album. Oh I love the new Maya roads stuff too!! Cant get enough!! lol

So I'm going to say, I'll have my pictures up by the end of the week, and I'll also try to get pictures of my book made with the BoBunny Whoo-ligans line. So hope you stop by later to see!! Off to have some more fun!
